Distinction for an employee of the Department
On April 8-9, 2026, dr inż. Iwona Gorzeń-Mitka participated in the National Meeting of Coordinators and Lecturers of the "Modern Business Management" Program and the Economic Education Congress.
During the meeting, organized by the Warsaw Institute of Banking Foundation, representatives of economic universities had the opportunity to exchange experiences with experts from the banking and financial sectors. A key element of the event was the presentation of awards to the most active representatives of the academic community. Among them was dr inż. Iwona Gorzeń-Mitka, who received an award for actively supporting the Score Hunter educational platform as part of the "Modern Business Management" Educational Program. The Score Hunter platform, developed by the Credit Information Bureau, utilizes gamification mechanisms in the teaching process.
On the second day, April 9, 2026, the 10th anniversary Congress of Economic Education took place at the Central House of Technology in Warsaw. It was one of the most important events in Poland dedicated to financial education. Organized by the Warsaw Institute of Banking Foundation and the WSE Foundation, the Congress brought together experts from the worlds of finance, science, public administration, and non-governmental organizations. The theme of the event was "Economic Education in a World of Uncertainty – Between the Market, Technology, and Society."
