Guest lecture by a Rockwell Automation employee
On December 4, 2025, we had the pleasure of hosting Mr. Dawid Idzior from Rockwell Automation, who, at the invitation of dr Agnieszka Skręt-Bednarz, delivered a lecture to first-semester undergraduate students in Finance and Accounting for Business as part of the Business Ethics course.
Mr. Dawid Idzior works at Rockwell Automation as Assistant General Counsel and also as the EMEA Ombudsman. In this latter role, he is responsible for resolving all matters related to potentially unethical employee behavior. He is also a Member of the Management Board.
In his lecture, titled "Rockwell Automation's Code of Conduct and Compliance System as an Example of an Employee's Ethical Standards Policy in the Business," Mr. Idzior introduced students to ethical dilemmas they may face in the future. He also presented details of the corporate ethical standards assurance system, which includes the Code of Conduct and the policy for handling violations. At the end of the lecture, he presented several examples of situations involving proceedings concerning potential unethical behavior of employees, which became the basis for discussion with students.
