Guest lecture by an expert in the subject of Corporate Finance

On May 6, 2025, we had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Eng. Tomasz Jastrząb from Technicenter Sp. z o.o. The guest, at the invitation of Dr. Małgorzata Lipowicz, gave a lecture for students of Finance and Accounting - Rybnik Branch as part of the subject Corporate Finance.

Dr. Eng. Tomasz Jastrząb is an expert in data analysis and processing, the author of the eanaliza.pl system, which was created in cooperation with, among others, academic staff of the University of Economics in Katowice. He created and coordinates a website publishing industry analytical indicators developed on the basis of financial data provided by the Central Statistical Office.

As part of the lecture devoted to the use of analytical tools in corporate finance, he presented the practical use of the eanaliza.pl system in financial issues in the enterprise. The Knowledge Base module can be used by students to help them learn the subject and build future competences on the labor market. The Industry Indicators website was also presented, which can be used as a tool supporting the performance of analyses, studies or a source of data for comparative purposes. Thanks to its practical aspect, the guest lecture became an inspiration for Students to start using the acquired knowledge in practice and using the acquired skills.
