Participation of a department employee in the Conference of Finance Departments 2025
On September 15-16, 2025, Krzysztof Pałęga, a member of the Department of Finance, participated in the 2025 Conference of Departments of Finance "Finance and the Challenge of a Sustainable Economy," where he delivered a paper entitled "Determinants of Insolvency in Enterprises in the Silesian Voivodeship, Considering the Micro- and Macroeconomic Environment Characteristic of the Economy of the Silesian Voivodeship."
The theme of this year's conference was "Finance and the Challenges of a Sustainable Economy." The event was organized by the Department of Finance, Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of Warmia and Mazury. Representatives from dozens of academic centers, financial institutions, and businesses participated. The meeting provided a forum for the exchange of experiences and the presentation of research results on issues such as inflation, public finance, innovative technological solutions, and the role of green finance in sustainable development.
