Participation of a department's employee in the 25th Management International Conference (MIC 2026)
On June 3-6, 2026, mgr Anna Sikora, participated in the 25th Management International Conference (MIC 2026) "Bridging Gaps, Building Futures: Business and Policy in a Complex World" in Koper, Slovenia. The conference was organized by the University of Primorsko and the University of Trieste. The conference aimed to highlight the need to foster dialogue between business and politics to address global complexity. In times shaped by digital and green economic transformation, financial volatility, destabilization of business models, political uncertainty and shocks, and changing geostrategic dynamics, the interplay between politics and business is becoming a key driver of long-term progress.
The first day of the conference was dedicated to PhD students at all stages of their doctoral studies. The goal was to create an inclusive environment in which to share questions, ideas, and provide feedback on key issues emerging during the doctoral process through dedicated workshops.
During the conference, mgr Anna Sikora presented a paper entitled "Corporate Climate Strategy and Financial Performance: Evidence from the Polish Market."
Additionally, mgr Anna Sikora served as the conference's session chair.
Participation in the conference was co-financed by the Minister of Science under the "Regional Excellence Initiative" program.
