Participation of the Department's employee in the 21st National Congress of Economists
On June 1-4, 2025, the XXI NATIONAL CONGRESS OF ECONOMISTS was held, organized by the Faculty of Economics, Finance and Management of the University of Szczecin. The main theme of this year's edition: "Economic challenges of the 21st century. Poland - European Union - World". The conference was held under the patronage of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Polish Economic Society, the West Pomeranian Voivode and the Marshal of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship.
Among many participants representing leading scientific units in Poland, the conference included dr inż. Iwona Gorzeń-Mitka with a paper entitled "Strengthening the green transformation through risk management: evidence from innovative small and medium-sized enterprises".
The conference is an annual forum for the exchange of views and experiences related to key issues of the modern economy, such as interdisciplinary research, experimental economics, the functioning of the SME sector, the role of the state in the economy and the problems of globalization. The conference topics also include areas such as human capital, the labor market, migration, entrepreneurship, innovation, as well as research methodology and the history of economic thought.
