On October 21st, International Business students took part in the workshop "Implementing Innovation in Companies through Design." The workshop was conducted by Jakub August, CEO of Tenka.
Jakub August is the co-owner of TENKA, an expert in innovation implementation and project management. He develops new business growth strategies, analyzes competition, and co-creates innovations. He prepares implementation plans for new solutions and supports their execution. His expertise lies in market positioning and identifying new market opportunities.
Students had a unique opportunity to gain insights into the business world from a practitioner’s perspective. During the workshop, they worked on collaborative projects, learning about the role of product and service designers and the significance of design in driving innovation.
Jakub August also shared his experience of working with manufacturing companies, the process of developing innovative products, and the design thinking approach.
Throughout the workshop, participants engaged in the design thinking process firsthand, allowing them to experience its practical applications in real-world business scenarios.
