On Monday, April 7, 2025, the 14th International Week "Internet Communication Management" officially began. During the opening ceremony, the guests were welcomed by Vice-Rector for Education and International Relations, Prof. Wojciech Dyduch, and Prof. Małgorzata Pańkowska, Head of the Department of Informatics at the Faculty of Informatics and Communication and academic coordinator of the International Week.
This year’s edition hosts 24 lecturers from countries such as Bulgaria, Albania, Austria, Italy, Portugal, Turkey, Romania, Lebanon, Kazakhstan, Mauritius, Canada, and South Africa.
The classes will be held from April 7 to 10.
On April 9, employees and PhD students of the University of Economics in Katowice will have the opportunity to participate in the scientific seminar “Smart Technologies & Smart Research.” The main theme of the event will be “AI Everywhere: Is It Really Needed?”
