On Monday, May 11, 2026, the opening of the 15th International Week "Internet Communication Management" took place. During the official inauguration, guests were welcomed by Vice-Rector for Teaching and International Relations prof. dr hab. Wojciech Dyduch and prof. dr hab. Małgorzata Pańkowska, Head of the Department of Informatics at the Faculty of Informatics and Communication, academic coordinator of the International Week.
This year’s edition brings together 23 lecturers from countries such as Albania, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Croatia, Egypt, Lebanon, Malta, Mauritius, Germany, Paraguay, Sweden, Ukraine, the USA, and Italy. The classes will be held from May 11-14.
On May 13, staff members and PhD students of the University of Economics in Katowice will have the opportunity to participate in the scientific seminar "Smart Technologies & Smart Research". The main topic will be "University-Business Cooperation: Is It Really Needed?"
