With the new year, we commence the celebrations of the European City of Science Katowice 2024. As part of ECOS 2024, numerous inspiring events will take place, including 50 Weeks in the City of Science. Scientists from universities affiliated with the Academic Consortium Katowice - City of Science, including experts from the University of Economics in Katowice, are involved in the initiative.
We present 50 weeks that will define activities related to awarding Katowice the title of the European City of Science in 2024!
The preparation of the entire list was possible thanks to the exceptional commitment of the academic community of universities focused on the Academic Consortium - Katowice City of Science. Representatives of the city of Katowice also presented their proposals. Dr Łukasz Lamża, the creative director for the 50 Weeks of the European City of Science, oversees the selection of weekly themes, the integration of numerous threads, and the coordination of the evolving program from the beginning.
