The next edition of Project Week is behind us. The main goal of the project is the cooperation between students from the logistics and finance fields. Currently, the hosting universities are Odisee University of Applied Sciences in Brussels and the University of Economics in Katowice.
The Final of Project Week 2021 took place on 19-21 April 2021. The entire event was online. For three days, the groups were working hard on solving a complex case study on risk management in a logistics company and a financial assessment of the costs associated with the proposed solutions. Their results were scored by the commission, which consisted of prof. Jort Van Schil and prof. Nadine Hendrickx from Odisee University of Applied Sciences in Brussels, dr. Anna Urbanek, Magdalena Tuora M.Eng., as well as prof. Monika Wieczorek-Kosmala PhD and prof. Joanna Błach PhD from the University of Economics in Katowice. The jury selected the winning team, who prepared the best solutions. Among the team members were the third-year students of the Logistics Faculty of our University: Adam Kubok and Krzysztof Stańko.
