A new edition of the AD Scientific Index 2024 ranking was released in June 2024. The ranking, based on data from Google Scholar, ranks universities and individual scientists. Employees of the UE Katowice were recognized in the list of "Europe Top 100 Economics Scientists in Poland 2024."
The AD Scientific Index (Alper-Doger Scientific Index) is a ranking and analysis system based on the scientific performance and the added value of the scientific productivity of individual scientists, unlike other systems that evaluate journals and universities. This new index was developed in 2021 by Prof. Dr. Murat ALPER and Associate Prof. Dr. Cihan DÖĞER using the total and last 6 years' values of the i10 index, h-index and citation scores in Google Scholar. Using a total of nine parameters, the "AD Scientific Index" shows the ranking of scientists in 12 subjects, 256 fields, 23,200 institutions, 219 countries, and 10 regions.
