On May 13th to 17th, 2024, at the invitation of the supervisors of the Finance and Accounting for Business and Accounting and Taxation Programmes: Dr. Rafał Buła, Prof. Monika Foltyn-Zarychta (Department of Investments) and Prof. Monika Klimontowicz (Department of Banking and Financial Markets), a representative of Széchenyi István University in Győr, Dr. Katalin Vargáné Kiss, visited our university.
As part of her visit, Dr. Katalin Kiss conducted the seminar Academic Writing - A Practical Guide for Non-Native Speakers of English for researchers and doctoral students of our university. In addition, Dr. Kiss conducted a course for students: Academic writing - a practical guide on how to write theses and papers in English, devoted to issues related to writing diploma theses and scientific papers in English. The course was very popular - it was attended by representatives of many study programmes, e.g. Finance and Accounting for Business, Finance and Accounting, International Business, Management, Logistics, Computer Science and Econometrics.
