On September 23-24, representatives of partner universities involved in WP11, the work package responsible for communication and dissemination within the BAUHAUS4EU Alliance, met in Katowice to discuss ongoing activities, current tasks and upcoming communication initiatives.
One of the key elements of the meeting was the workshop "Modern Methods and Tools of Communication - AI-Supported Communication for BAUHAUS4EU", delivered by Hillway. The participants explored new ways of using artificial intelligence-based tools to support communication activities, including content planning and preparation. The workshop also provided an opportunity to exchange experiences and discuss how modern technologies can contribute to effective communication across an international university Alliance.
A key item on the agenda was a discussion with representatives from Randlab, which is working with our University to develop an online platform for the Alliance. Members of WP11 are involved in creating one of its key components – the new BAUHAUS4EU website. The discussion centred on the website’s objectives, communication needs and the next stages of its development, amongst other things. The new website is set to become a key platform for showcasing the activities, results and initiatives carried out by the B4EU partners.
The program also included time for sharing experiences, socialising and getting to know us and the region better. Participants had the opportunity to visit the campus of our University, as well as to explore Katowice and gain a deeper understanding of the city’s unique character. As part of the event, our guests had the opportunity to visit the Tyskie Książęce Brewery, where the group learnt about the history and traditions of one of Tychy’s most recognisable landmarks.
The WP11 meeting was the next step in developing a coherent and modern communication strategy for BAUHAUS4EU. Direct cooperation between representatives of our partner universities not only facilitates the efficient coordination of ongoing activities, but also helps to develop solutions that meet the needs of the entire Alliance community.
The meeting was organized as part of the project "UEKat in BAUHAUS4EU – developing the University’s potential for a European University for sustainable, resilient, and inclusive regions".
