Università degli studi di Bergamo has announced a call for applications for PhD programmes within the 42nd cycle of doctoral education. The offer includes research programmes conducted in English and Italian, covering areas related to economics, management, finance, artificial intelligence, technology, social sciences and humanities. As part of the call, PhD positions covered by three-year scholarships are available.
Each programme offers positions for at least three candidates.
The offer may be of particular interest to students, graduates and those planning to develop their academic career in areas related to the profile of the University of Economics in Katowice, including:
- Economics,
- Intelligence Systems for Business Administration (ISBA),
- Management accounting and finance,
- Technology, innovation and management,
- Artificial intelligence for sustainable futures,
- Manufacturing Ecosystems Enabled by Intelligent Technologies (MEET),
- Human and social sciences.
Depending on the selected programme and the individual research path, it may also be possible to explore cooperation in the co-tutelle formula, i.e. a doctoral degree carried out under the academic supervision of two universities.
The recruitment process is conducted online. Applications may be submitted until 16 June 2026, 11:59 a.m. Italian time.
