On December 17, 2025, a special evening took place that will long remain in the memory of our academic community. Christmas meeting with students was not only an opportunity to take a break from everyday responsibilities, but above all a space for authentic intercultural dialogue and integration.
Learning about Polish traditions
We began the evening with a ceremonial welcome for our guests. The main point of the program was to introduce students, especially those from abroad, to the richness of Polish Christmas traditions and customs. Together, we talked about the symbolism of the Christmas Eve table and the significance of this holiday in Polish culture.
Integration and shared moments
After a short speech, we moved on to the most important part – conversations and wishes. In accordance with Polish tradition, we shared the Christmas wafer, which was a new but very moving experience for many of our students. A moment later, a festive dinner was served. Traditional Polish dishes aroused considerable interest and, most importantly, everyone enjoyed them very much! The evening ended with singing together. Christmas carols were sung not only in Polish, but in many languages spoken by our students, creating a unique, multicultural harmony.
We would like to thank everyone for their presence, openness, and the fantastic atmosphere we created together. We would also like to thank the International Relations Office for their support in organizing the event.
