The ongoing collaboration between the Department of Investment (dr hab. Monika Foltyn-Zarychta, prof. UE, dr Rafał Buła) and the Department of Economics II at the Warsaw School of Economics (Bożena Horbaczewska Ph.D.) has led to the participation of Rafał Buła Ph.D. in a panel at the Repower World Summit 2025, dedicated to the financing of energy investments.
The panel, titled "Investment Financing Models" was inaugurated with an introductory lecture by Bożena Horbaczewska Ph.D. (co-author of the SaHo model, an innovative business model for nuclear energy industry, designed to provide the cheapest possible energy to end users; Warsaw School of Economics). The panelists included: Jacek Bogucki, Director of the Energy and Technology Sector Office at Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego; Karolina Mucha-Kuś Ph.D., Executive Director for Strategy, ESG, and Regulation at Tauron Polska Energia S.A. (TAURON Group); Łukasz Sawicki, Advisor at the Department of Nuclear Energy, Ministry of Industry (co-author of the SaHo model). The panel was moderated by Adam Błażowski, President of the Board at FOTA4Climate.
