On March 9, Universidad CEU Cardenal Herrera in Valencia, Spain, held a graduation ceremony for the second year of our unique, international European Master in Customer Relationship Marketing (Mercuri) study program.
Mercuri is a two-year master's degree program in four countries: Poland, France, Germany, and Spain. Our University, Universite Grenoble Alpes, Technischen Hochschule Aschaffenburg, and Universidad CEU Cardenal Herrera in Valencia joined forces in 2020 to create a new joint master's program spanning four semesters – each semester is held at a different university in a different country. The second year's master's thesis defenses were held between September 18-19, 2023.
All the assembled graduates, representatives of their families and friends, as well as current graduates of the first year and students of the third year of the Mercuri program were welcomed in the representative auditorium of the Palacio de Colomina by Prof. Jordi Lopez – Vice-Rector for Internationalization of Universidad CEU Cardenal Hererra, as the host university, and Prof. Slawomir Smyczek – Vice-Rector for Education and International Relations, as a representative of our University and leader of the Mercuri program consortium.
The diplomas of the University of Economics in Katowice, Universite Grenoble Alpes, Universidad CEU Cardenal Hererra, and a special joint certificate of completion of the European Master in Customer Relationship Marketing program were presented to the second-year graduates by representatives of partner universities – Prof. Justyna Ganassali, Prof. Alexandre Angress and Prof. Francisco Suey Perez.
The graduation ceremony was preceded by a two-day workshop for Mercuri program students currently studying in their second year at Universidad CEU Cardenal Hererra and graduates of the program. The workshop was intended to improve the soft skills of its participants, which employers highly desire in the job market, and to integrate, build relationships, and create a unique Mercuri program community.
