Dr. hab. Grzegorz Maciejewski, Prof. UE, co-author of an expert publication!

One of the outcomes of the recently completed research project titled "Sustainable population consumption in a post-pandemic economy. The perspective of three countries" is an expert text addressed to the business community. Researchers from three countries analyzed the level of sustainable consumption through the lens of eco-friendly consumer behaviors in the Czech Republic, Poland, and Slovakia.

This research contributes to several closely related streams of studies on pro-environmental behavior among contemporary consumers. First, it expands knowledge about consumer behavior in markets and households. Second, it enriches the literature on consumer behavior changes caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Third, it enhances research into the heterogeneity of consumer behaviors across different generations (BB, X, Y, Z).

The project was carried out in collaboration between Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem, the University of Economics in Katowice, and Comenius University in Bratislava, and was financially supported by the Visegrad Fund (Project ID: 22320074). The University of Economics in Katowice was represented in the project by dr. hab. Grzegorz Maciejewski from the Department of Market and Consumption.

We invite you to read the full publication available on the website.
