Dr. hab. Monika Wieczorek-Kosmala, prof. UE - Department of Strategic and Regional Studies Faculty of Spatial Economy and Regions in Transition - became a member of the Executive Committee British Accounting and Finance Association Special Interest Group - Accounting and Finance and Emerging Economics (BAFA-AFEE SIG).
“25th Workshop on Accounting and FInance in Emerging Economies" was held at the University of Economics in Katowice on July 1–2, 2024. The workshop aimed to bring together academics working on accounting and finance issues concerning emerging economies.
As members of the Executive Committee, dr hab. Monika Wieczorek-Kosmala, prof. UE, together with prof. Boris Popesko from Tomas Bata University in Zlín, will work to support and develop research concerning Central and Eastern European countries within the AFEE SIG.
