Composer
John Williams, statement on the event organizer's website: "Home Alone , from the very moment of its release, has a special place in the hearts of a very wide and diverse circle of viewers. Director Chris Columbus brought an exceptionally fresh and innocent take on this stunning story, and as a result, his film deservedly earned its place on a holiday TV show. It was a great pleasure for me to compose the score for this film, and I am particularly delighted that the impressive Royal Symphony Orchestra has agreed to perform the music during a live presentation of the film. I know that I speak on behalf of everyone involved in the production of this film, when I emphasize how honored we are at this event ... And I hope that today's audience will experience anew the joy that our film brings with it."
