- Ceremonial renewal of the doctoral degree of Prof. Jan Pyka
- Matriculation ceremony
- Inaugural lecture by Prof. Edward Wylęgała, Vice-Rector for Development and Technology Transfer at the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, entitled “Why Is Facebook Blue and the Dollar Green? The Unexpected Impact of Colour Vision on Economics”
The inauguration ceremony will be enhanced by a performance by the Choir of the University of Economics in Katowice.
