In the summer semester of the academic year 2023/2024, our University will host 54 Erasmus+ students from 11 countries! Traditionally, Welcome Point organizes Integration Week which is going to be held between February 12-16, 2024.
During their first days in Poland, international exchange students will have the opportunity to get to know our University, the city of Katowice and the nearby tourist attractions.
Numerous exciting events are planned as part of the program, including activities such as Polish language workshops, integration games and city tours. The meetings will be held at various locations at our University campus and throughout the city. Students will visit places like the Silesian Museum, Kato Science Corner and Planetarium in Chorzów.
Global Village, a meeting of Polish and international students, is going to be held on the last day of Integration Week. Students will have the opportunity to taste traditional food, drinks and learn about the culture of other countries. We warmly invite all our Erasmus+ students to participate in this event.
Integration Week is organized by Internationalization Office in cooperation with International Relations Office and the active involvement of Polish and foreign students – "Uni Buddies" – supporting the organization of events at Welcome Point and taking care of their peers from different countries during their studies in Poland.
