Intensive international program "IP 2 - Digital Boost Camp"

On Monday, March 13 we launched the in-person part of the "IP2 - Digital Boost Camp" program. The course is part of the "Academy of Creative Education" project, which is funded by NAWA's "SPINAKER - Intensive International Education Programs" program.

It is an exciting and enriching experience for the participating students from the Netherlands, Hungary, Spain, and Georgia, as well as Polish students.

The meeting began with a welcoming address from Prof. Slawomir Smyczek, Vice-Rector for Education and International Cooperation, introduction by Prof. Justyna Matysiewicz, Dean of Undergraduate and Graduate Studies and Edyta Lachowicz-Santos, Director of Internationalization. The students have already been taking part in the course since last week, when they participated in remote classes taught by Polish and foreign lecturers, during which they had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with teaching materials on consumer rights protection, creative management problem solving and business presentation methods, made available on a platform dedicated to them.

The stationary part of the course in Katowice will last until the end of the week. During this time, participants will take part in practical workshops to improve business presentation skills in a multicultural environment, as well as learn more about Polish and Silesian culture through visits to the Silesian Museum and the Science Park and Planetarium in Chorzow.

Overall, this course is not only an opportunity to deepen knowledge of business and culture but also a chance to make new friends in a fun international environment.
