On the 25th and 26th of May, an international scientific debate on energy took place in Pszczyna and Katowice, featuring renowned expert Professor Raphael Heffron, whose expertise is highly valued by numerous companies and institutions. The event brought together representatives from the University of Economics in Katowice, including Her Magnificence Rector Prof. Celina M. Olszak, Ph.D., D.Sc, Vice-Rector for Science and Academic Staff Development prof. Maciej Nowak, Ph.D., Vice-Rector for Education and International Relations Prof. Sławomir Smyczek, Ph.D. and representatives of the Department of Energy Transformation: Prof. Marzena Czarnecka Ph.D., Marcin Kraśniewski Ph.D., Dorota Benduch Ph.D, Aleksandra Lubicz-Posochowska Ph.D. and Grzegorz Zych MSc.
The conference focused on the global, European, and Polish energy landscapes, providing a platform for an in-depth scholarly discussion. The ceremonial opening of the Conference, held at the Castle Museum in Pszczyna, was also attended by Vice-Rector for Science and Academic Staff Development prof. Maciej Nowak, Ph.D.
