On October 14th, International E-waste Day is celebrated worldwide. This year, the University of Economics in Katowice is joining the 7th edition of the action organized by ElektroEko and UNEP/GRID-Warsaw. On this occasion, special containers for disposing of electronic waste will be located on campus throughout the month.
The aim of the campaign is to raise consumer awareness about electronic waste. The ambassadors of International E-waste Day at the University of Economics in Katowice are: dr hab. Dominika Bochańczyk-Kupka, prof. UE, dr hab. Monika Wieczorek-Kosmala, prof. UE and Kinga Wolny.
