Between March 11 and 28, 2025, another edition of the International Logistics Project Week took place, this year organized as part of the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP). The event aimed to integrate students from different countries and facilitate collaborative work on an international logistics case study.
Three partner universities participated in the project:
- University of Economics in Katowice (Poland),
-
Inholland University of Applied Sciences in Haarlem (Netherlands),
-
Odisee University of Applied Sciences in Brussels (Belgium).
The event was organized on behalf of the University of Economics in Katowice by Dr. Anna Urbanek from the Department of Transport.
This year marked the 10th edition of the International Logistics Project Week. It consisted of an online component, during which students participated in lectures and virtual activities, as well as an on-site component—an intensive project week held on our campus from March 24 to 28.
The programme brought together 10 students from the Belgian university, 15 students from the Dutch university, and 10 students from the University of Economics in Katowice. We also had the pleasure of hosting three lecturers from the partner universities: Jort Van Schil from Odisee University of Applied Sciences, and Thijs van der Laaken and Thorvald van der Zee from Inholland University of Applied Sciences.
As part of the project, students also had the opportunity to take part in a study visit to one of the most robotized Amazon warehouses in the world, located in Gliwice.
Congratulations to the winners and all participants!
