Meeting with a Representative of the Silesian Voivodeship Office at the University of Economics

On May 28, another informational meeting with a representative of the Silesian Voivodeship Office took place at our University. The event was dedicated to the topic of legalization of stay for international students in Poland. The organizer of this recurring initiative was the Welcome Point operating within the Internationalization Office of the University of Economics. The meeting gathered both international students seeking reliable information and administrative staff members who support their studies and integration process in Poland on a daily basis.

The main purpose of the visit was to present in detail the current regulations and procedures related to the stay of foreign nationals in Poland. Participants had the opportunity to learn about new programs and government initiatives aimed at improving the process of applying for residence permits and other necessary documents.

Key points of the meeting

A representative of the Department for Foreigners’ Affairs explained step by step the latest changes in regulations, clarifying how to correctly submit applications and avoid formal mistakes. For the administrative staff, including teams from the Welcome Point, Recruitment Office, International Cooperation Office, and Dean’s Office, the meeting was an excellent opportunity to improve qualifications and gain knowledge directly from the source, which will contribute to even more efficient student support in the future.

An important part of the event was the Q&A session. Students and staff members were able to clarify their doubts by asking questions regarding specific individual cases.

We would like to thank everyone for their attendance and active participation in the meeting.
