On May 7, 2024, a meeting was held in the conference room of the Rector's office with representatives from the University of the United Arab Emirates and Khalifa University. The gathered guests were warmly welcomed by Vice-Rector for Education and International Relations, Professor Sławomir Smyczek, Ph.D.
After the ceremonial welcome by Professor Sławomir Smyczek, our guests had the opportunity to learn more about the city of Katowice and our university. This part of the meeting was led by Marcin Kraśniewski, Ph.D., from the Department of Energy Transformation.
Next, the Dean of the College of Studies, Professor Justyna Ganassali, Ph.D., presented the available offer of English-language studies, which includes specializations such as MERCURI and MAGELLAN.
Research related to transformation was presented by Marcin Baron, Ph.D., from the Department of Strategic and Regional Studies, followed by the Director of the Internationalization Office, Edyta Lachowicz-Santos, who spoke about the activities of the Welcome Point on the university campus.
