This year the Open Days took place on Wednesday and Thursday, 29-30 of March. Following the motto “virtual and global” we have prepared a lot of attractions for both Polish and international candidates.
Candidates had a chance to visit our campus, chat with our alumni who are currently abroad (in Taiwan and Myanmar) via videoconference, had a virtual walk or checked the snapstory or instagram stories.
We would like to thank to all the volunteers: students, parents and academics for joining us during Open Days. Thanks to you the future students had an opportunity to attend exciting events, talk to our staff and students and get the answers to all their questions (also during the live Q&A facebook and instagram streaming). During this event the prospective students had a chance to participate in lectures conducted both in Polish and English, talk to student ambassadors of our study programmes and find out about career prospects after graduation.
Our students took part in the Open Days as volunteers and act as guides to the candidates during the campus tour. They was very happy to share their first-hand experience about students’ life. This event was an excellent opportunity to feel what it is like to study at UE Katowice. The candidates seemed to truly enjoy being students for one day.
