Our univesity represented at EAIE conference

Representatives of our university took part in the 28th Annual EAIE Conference and Exhibition from 13–16 September 2016. This is the biggest educational event in Europe. This year there were 5200 participants from over 80 countries, over 200 exhibitors, 170 sessions and over 20 networking events.

This year's conference theme was 'Imagine...'.

International educators have a dream of higher education that transcends national borders, nurtures global citizens and moves them closer to freedom, equality and peace around the world.  This dream has been brought to Liverpool also from our university.

Edyta Lachowicz Santos - Director of Marketing Communications has been elected as Chair of an expert community dealing with employability skills, internship and employer relations. Mrs Lachowicz-Santos is the only Polish representative in the leadership of EAIE. She has also prepared and chaired a session on "Employability presents: Imagine... having a successful employability strategy" and moderated a "Peer discussion: Is your institution producing employable graduates?"

Moreover, at the exhibition our staff from International Relations Office have had many meetings with our current and prospective partner universities, promoting our institution among participants from all over the world at the official Polish stand "Ready, Study, GO! Poland".

This year the  Ministry of Science and Higher Education in Poland sponsored free wifi during the EAIE conference. All users of theWi-Fi in the convention center in Liverpool were automatically redirected to the www.go-poland.pl. We hope that all new contacts made in Liverpool will improve the level of internationalization of our University. The next year's EAIE conference will take place in Seville, Spain.
