The Internationalisation Office has completed a key stage of last year’s cooperation with GZM and successfully settled the projects financed by the Metropolitan Science Support Fund. In July 2026, the Project Evaluation Committee, appointed by a resolution of the Management Board of the Górnośląsko-Zagłębiowska Metropolis, approved the reports on all 16 projects without reservations.
In 2025, a total of PLN 677,430 was secured for the implementation of these innovative initiatives. The funding made it possible to carry out numerous projects aimed at supporting young researchers in their research activities and developing cooperation with internationally renowned experts, including specialists from India, Ireland and the United States.
We are pleased that, thanks to the commitment and opportunities offered by the Górnośląsko-Zagłębiowska Metropolis, we can make a tangible contribution to strengthening the international competitiveness of our region.
