- Marcin Krupa – Mayor of Katowice,
- Jakub Chełstowski – Marshall of the Silesian Voivodeship,
- Kazimierz Karolczak – Chair of the Management Board of Metropolis GZM
The Rectors of the Silesian universities affiliated with the Academic Consortium Katowice – City of Science also spoke during the event:

- His Magnificence Rector of the Academy of Physical Education in Katowice (AWF) – Prof. Grzegorz Juras, Ph.D.,
- Vice-Rector for Education and Student Affairs of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Katowice – Associate Professor Lesław Tetla,
- Vice-Rector for Science and Academic Staff Development Prof. Maciej Nowak, Ph.D., who emphasized in his speech:
"(...) I wholeheartedly encourage you to participate in the Festival and especially look at the proposals of our University. Some of these events have very intriguing titles such as: "What connects investments with time travel, climate change and a seashell?". We also suggest attending a presentation on "Significance of animals and colors in economics", or another one, by Prof. Tadeusz Trzaskalik, last year's winner of the Silesian Science Prize, who will tell us a little about the musical history of Dąbrowski’s Mazurek. The vast scope of the events is indeed interesting. We are very happy to have joined this Festival and be able to fill a certain gap; economic sciences should be of great interest to the festival audience. I once again encourage you to participate in the Festival."
