Project Week Katowice 2017 - Success of FAB Students!

3rd edition of the Project Week Katowice organised within the partnership among Odisee Hogeschool in Brussels, Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht in Berlin and Faculty of Finance and Insurance of the University of Economics in Katowice has finished.

Over the time period 13 and 17 March 2017 almost 70 students from Berlin, Brussels and Katowice were working in international teams over case study solutions. The case study combined issues belonging to the area of logistics with financial decision making.

First prize was awarded by the Jury to the team where 4 FAB students were active: Dominika Banaś, Karolina Franosz, Ewa Kluj and Aleksandra Maria Sikora.

We would like to congratulate not only to the laureates but also all the other students participating in the event. Presented solutions to the cases were on extremely high level and confirmed abilities of teamwork especially in international dimension.

Intensive working week was supported  with many cultural events aiming at presenting our region and enhancing integration of the students. Participants had the opportunity to visit Guido mine or the headquarters of the National Symphonic Orchestra of Polish Radio (NOSPR) where they listened to the concert of young musicians. Social programme was delivered with the financial support of Technicenter Sp. z o.o. – a company offering eanaliza application.

The event was organised under honorary patronage of the Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Insurance.
