Due to the holidays falling in early May, and at the special request from the Student Parliament, Vice-Rector for Education and International Relations prof. Sławomir Smyczek, Ph.D. agreed that May 2, 2024 to be Rector's Day [day free from classes/lectures]. All students of the University of Economics in Katowice, including students of Rybnik branch, have free time from classes/lectures on that day.
