In connection with the official University Inauguration of the 2026/2027 Academic Year, at the request of the Student Parliament, the Vice-Rector for Teaching and International Relations prof. dr hab. Wojciech Dyduch has approved October 5, 2026 as Rector's Day. This decision applies to full-time undergraduate and graduate students of the University of Economics in Katowice, including the Rybnik Branch.
