Dear academic community,
It is with great satisfaction and joy that I inform you of the reception of the Minister of Education and Science’s decision on the result of the quality of scientific activity evaluation.
Our Alma Mater, University of Economics in Katowice, received a B+ category both in the discipline of Economics and Finance and in the Management and Quality Sciences, thus fulfilling our strategic goals.
Evaluation is an assessment of the quality of scientific activity. It consists of the collective achievements of the University's academic staff, publications and ongoing research projects. Of great importance to the final result was also the impact of the research carried out on the economy and society, as well as the scientific level of the carried out initiatives. In my humble opinion the obtained result is the reflection of your hard work and proves that the direction we have jointly undertaken is a proper one.
I extend my sincere thanks to all those involved in the evaluation process. I very much hope that the received result, and thus the success of all of us, will become an excellent motivation for further undertakings, and that our University will continue to flourish and prosper.
