On December 6, 2023, Santa Claus visited our entire academic community! Participants were greeted with countless attractions that immediately brought the magic of the upcoming holidays to life. The movie "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" was played in the afternoon.
The event took place in the lobby of the Advanced Information Technology Center, where our entire academic community could spend time in a joyful and festive atmosphere. Music, provided by AS Radio, and a photo booth were available for students and staff to capture memorable moments.
But that's not all! In a special chill-out zone, students from the Independent Student Association (NZS) of our University organized games and activities while students from the Paneuropa student organization prepared a very special karaoke for participants. Everybody enjoyed themselves, with both zones garnering significant interest.
Christmas festivities at the University of Economics in Katowice also provided an opportunity to learn about Silesian holiday traditions, as explained by representatives of the Song and Dance Ensemble "Silesianie". The event also featured a stand of our University Choir.
Delicious cookies and beverages such as coffee, tea, and hot chocolate were an extra treat for all the guests. Students who wore festive props on that day secured a day without oral exams or tests.
