Start a new adventure with us! Integration Week 2026 is almost here

The upcoming Integration Week for international students is taking place on September 21–25 this year. In keeping with the long-standing tradition, the initiative aims to help the newly arriving students adapt to their environment, both academic and cultural.

The first few days of the event are devoted to an official welcome ceremony that will be attended by representatives of the university administration. Students will hear presentations by the Vice-Rector for Teaching and International Relations, prof. dr hab. Wojciech Dyduch, as well as representatives from Student Services and units responsible for international cooperation.

Integration Week program

The schedule includes numerous activities designed to help students get to know one another. Our new students will participate in a variety of excursions and enjoy local attractions. Plans include a visit to the Silesian Museum, the historic Nikiszowiec workers’ housing estate, and a trip to Kraków, among other things. The main cultural highlight of the week is Global Village, during which students from all over the world can showcase their local cuisine and traditional elements, such as costumes and dances. Every year, this event brings together undergraduate and graduate students, as well as international exchange students participating in the Erasmus+ program.

The Welcome Point team is responsible for organising the event, in collaboration with the International Relations Office and volunteers from the Uni Buddy program.

Today, we want to invite all students about to begin their journey at our University to join Integration Week and follow our social media profile (Instagram).
