Success of FAB, FaA, and Af2.0 students in Ghent

From 31 March to 4 April, students from the Finance and Accounting for Business (FAB), Finance and Accounting (FaA), and Financial Analyst 2.0 (Af2.0) programmes participated in the 11th edition of the Blended Intensive Programme on Sustainable Banking and Finance 2025 (BIP SBaF), hosted by University College Ghent (HoGent), Belgium. They were accompanied by academic supervisors: Professor Monika Foltyn-Zarychta, Dr Łukasz Szewczyk, and Dr Rafał Buła. Our students received multiple awards and honours, including the Best Paper Award and the Best Oxford Debate Award.

The participating students were:

  • Wiktoria Zub and Michał Kocur (FAB),
  • Andrea Ciupke and Wojciech Duda (FaA),
  • Natalia Jasik (Af2.0).

BIP SBaF is an annual initiative coordinated by a consortium of universities from the Netherlands (InHolland University of Applied Sciences), Spain (CEU Universidad San Pablo in Madrid, Universidad Zaragoza), Belgium (University College Ghent), France (Université Catholique de l’Ouest, Nantes), the Czech Republic (University of Finance and Administration in Prague), and Poland (University of Economics in Katowice). Prior to the in-person event, students collaborated online in international teams, guided by academic mentors, to prepare scholarly papers. These were subsequently presented during BIP Days. This year’s programme also included an Oxford-style debate and various thematic discussions.

Alongside academic activities, a cultural programme enabled students to enhance communication skills and build international networks. The next edition of the BIP Sustainable Banking & Finance is scheduled to take place in France in March 2026.

Interested students are warmly encouraged to apply.
