Tour de Pologne is an annual international multiple-stage bicycle race. This year’s edition began in Poznań and, in the following days, the cyclists are going to ride further throughout Poland. The seventh stage of the race will be held on August 3, 2023, in Katowice, with the cyclists racing through our city's streets this Thursday.
This year's Tour de Pologne began on July 29, 2023, in Poznań, with the race’s finish line set in Kraków, August 4, 2023.
The 80th edition of Tour de Pologne consists of seven stages, during which cyclists will cover a total distance of 1130.5 kilometers. The individual stages include sprint, 3 mountain stages and a time trial.
The city of Katowice will also see plenty of cyclists. On August 3, 2023 the penultimate stage of the competition will take place, passing through sites of significance to the city, and finishing at the well-known-to-all Spodek.
Tour de Pologne provides cycling fans with a lot of excitement every year. Since 2005, the race has been part of cycling's world championships, the UCI World Tour, which also includes the world-famous Tour de France.
