The European Congress of small and medium-sized enterprises [coverage].

The 12th edition of the European Congress of small and medium-sized enterprises, which took place between November 20-22 at the International Congress Centre in Katowice, is over. This year's slogan was: "Face the Challenge. Business in the face of big challenges." Our University was the substantive partner of the event.

The Congress, the largest event of its kind in Europe, was addressed to representatives of small and medium-sized enterprise sectors and was held under the patronage of the European Parliament. The themes of this year's speeches and debates revolved around the slogan: "Face the Challenge. Business in the face of big challenges." This year's edition included eight thematic tracks: Face the Challenge, Company is People, Start-ups and Innovation, Law and Taxes, Finance and Investment, Marketing and Sales, Smart City for Business, and Global Business Meeting.

The event was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice (RIG), which has been supporting and stimulating the development of regional business for many years. The University of Economics in Katowice was the substantive partner of the Congress, while Her Magnificence Rector Prof. Celina M. Olszak, Ph.D., D.Sc., was one of the members of the event’s Honorary Committee.
