The First Edition of events of our "Economics without borders" project is over!

Between October 17-19, 2022, the Advanced Information Technology Center (CNTI) hosted the First Edition of "Economics without borders" – the latest project of our University, which was funded by the Ministry of Education and Science under the "Social Responsibility of Science" Programme. Her Magnificence Rector Prof. Celina M. Olszak, Ph.D., D.Sc., has assumed honorary patronage over the entire project.

Invited speakers included professors from Poland (representatives of our University of Economics in Katowice involved), but also from universities from around the world. The meetings covered issues such as consumer inclusion or technological solutions to support the global economy, with a particular focus on practices in African and European countries.

In addition, Global Village was organized in the CNTI lobby, where students, high school students and other visitors could learn about the continents presented during "Economy Without Borders" in a fun, interactive way.

Project "Economics without borders" is co-financed in the amount of PLN 464 940,00 from the funds of the Ministry of Education and Science, within the framework of the "Social Responsibility of Science".

The total amount of the project is PLN 516,600.00.

The project application was developed by Internationalization with the support of Vice-Rector for Education and International Relations, Prof. Sławomir Smyczek, Ph.D.
