The second edition of the newest project – "Economics without borders" is coming soon!

"Economics without borders" is the latest project of our University. It was funded by the Ministry of Education and Science under the "Social Responsibility of Science" program. One month ago at the University of Economics in Katowice we hosted professors from Africa and Europe. In November we will host guests from North America and Asia.

"Economics Without Borders" is a project which aims at popularizing science on an international scale by organizing unique events, which provide an opportunity for scientific debates, as well as presentations of scientific achievements, research and work of outstanding scientists from around the world.

Between November 16–18, 2022, the Advanced Information Technology Center will host Second Edition – North America and Asia, to which you are all cordially invited. The meeting will be streamed online on youtube channel.

It will address new trends in global economic relations, as well as the role of modern services in the global economy from the perspective of North America and Asia.

During the first two days (16-17 November) the event is open to all interested participants but on the third day (November 18), registration via the application form is necessary.

Global Village

The event will also feature Global Village in an interactive formula. Students, under the guidance of lecturers, will creatively present countries and continents from which the scientists hosted during the event originated. Our students will take on the role of guides and host games and competitions for visitors!
