From April 19th to 21st, the third edition of the "Economics Without Borders" project will take place. This time, South America, Australia, and New Zealand are waiting for you. We encourage you to participate in the event!
"Economics Without Borders" is a project aimed at promoting science on an international scale by organizing unique events that provide an opportunity for scientific debates, presentations of scientific achievements, research, and the work of outstanding scientists from all over the world.
The event and all meetings will be conducted entirely in English, which gives a universal and, above all, international dimension to the entire project. In addition, it is a unique large-scale undertaking, in which the University of Economics in Katowice will become the economic hub of Poland, where top-class scientists from all over the world will share their knowledge and participate in debates and the exchange of ideas and experiences. It is one of the most important actions promoting the so-called internationalization at home, and the invited speakers are outstanding scientists from countries such as New Zealand, Paraguay, or Brazil. These are professors with exceptional achievements in the field of socio-economic sciences.

Global Village
During the event, an Interactive Global Village will also take place. Under the guidance of our language instructors, students will creatively present the countries and continents from which the scientists hosted during the event come from. Our students will act as guides and lead games and contests prepared for the participants.

The project has been placed under the honorary patronage of the Rector, Prof. Celina M. Olszak.
The project is co-financed in the amount of PLN 464,940.00 from the funds of the Ministry of Education and Science as part of the "Social Responsibility of Science" program. The total value of the project is PLN 516,600.00.
