UE Katowice Students Participate in BIP "Green Banking and Beyond"

Finance and Accounting for Business students, Dominika Pyrek and Wiktoria Plaza, ang Financial Analyst 2.0. student Martyna Duś, along with their supervisor, mgr Maciej Tuszkiewicz, from the Department of Business Informatics and International Accounting, took part in the Blended Intensive Programme Green Banking and Beyond: When Traditional Finance Meets Environmental Responsibility, organized by the Bucharest University of Economic Studies.

The participants engaged in a week-long academic program led by professors and lecturers, aimed at enhancing their understanding of key financial and environmental topics. In addition to theoretical lectures, the program featured practical exercises that enabled students to apply their knowledge to real-world scenarios. To foster engagement and collaborative learning, the schedule included interactive elements such as games and quizzes, alongside traditional lecturesThe schedule included interactive elements such as games and quizzes alongside traditional lectures to foster engagement and collaborative learning. These activities encouraged open communication, teamwork, and critical thinking. Afternoon sessions were dedicated to project work, discussions, and practical applications, allowing participants to deepen their insights into green investments and sustainable finance. The program concluded with a cultural tour of Brașov and Bran Castle.
