In response to the difficult situation in Belarus, our University has joined other Polish universities supporting Belarusian candidates for studies.
Students from Belarus have been dear to us for years and, along with the Ukrainians, are the most numerous group of foreign students studying in Poland.
More than 20 students from this country are currently studying at UEKat and another 20 have applied for admission this academic year.
As part of the "UEKat supports Belarus" campaign, which is an expression of solidarity with the Belarusian society, the candidates have been offered:
- 6 Rector’s scholarships (free of charge studies at Bachelor and Master degree programs conducted in Polish)
- extended recruitment deadline to 10.10.2020
- possibility to meet online with our Russian-speaking graduate for candidates and their parents
- flexible rules for students interested in moving from Belarusian university to UEKat during the academic year.
The announcement of the action was forwarded to the diplomatic missions in Belarus and published on the website and social media.
