Her Magnificence the Rector and the Senate of the University of Economics in Katowice have the honor to invite you to the festive celebration of University Day, which will be held on January 11, 2024, at 11:00 am in the Dr. Józef Lisak auditorium (building A, 3 Bogucicka Street).
According to long-standing tradition, University Day is celebrated on January 11, the anniversary of the lecture that inaugurated our University. This is the way our whole community celebrates its holiday.
The program of University Day includes:
- speech by Her Magnificence the Rector,
- doctoral and postdoctoral promotions,
- conferring the title of honorary professor of the University,
- awarding distinctions for the Outstanding Alumni of the University of Economics in Katowice competition.
The performance of our University Choir will grace the event.
