The Rector and the Senate of the University of Economics in Katowice cordially invite you to the University Anniversary Celebration, which will take place on January 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the dr Józef Lisak Auditorium (Building A, Bogucicka 3).
In keeping with a long-standing tradition, the University's Anniversary is celebrated each January. The date January 11 marks the anniversary of the inaugural lecture that signaled the beginning of the University's activity. On this day, the academic community comes together to celebrate this exceptional occasion.
The program for this year's ceremony includes:
- a speech by the Rector prof. dr hab. inż. Celina M. Olszak,
- the official launch of the BAUHAUS4EU project,
- Doctoral promotions,
- the conferral of the title of Honorary Professor of the University,
- presentation of awards in the Outstanding Alumni of the University of Economics in Katowice competition,
- presentation of distinctions to Partner School Directors and members of the University Community,
The celebration will also feature a performance by the University Choir of the University of Economics in Katowice.
