Invitation to the 1st FiR Forum - seminar in the field of Finance and Accounting
Dear Students
We cordially invite you to the Finance and Accounting seminar - I FiR Forum, which will be held on Wednesday, on 24 April 2024, at 10:00-15:00 in Aula A.
The 1st FiR Forum was held under the patronage of Her Magnificence Rector, prof. Ph.D. engineer Celina M. Olszak. It has also been included in the official program of the European City of Science Katowice 2024 and in the list of initiatives of the REE 2024 Year of Economic Education program.
The aim of the event is to present current topics and challenges in the area of finance and accounting, draw attention to the important connections between theory and economic practice and increase the level of internationalization of Finance and Accounting students.
The event will include lectures given by experienced practitioners and foreign guests - lecturers from partner universities. Moreover, an important part of the program will be a debate on the role and importance of women in finance, which is one of the most important challenges in the business world.
